The talk show Stories from Seoul was produced and broadcast on KBS WORLD Vietnamese, the Vietnamese-language channel of the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), South Korea’s national television network. The program aired on August 23, 2024, aiming to provide Vietnamese audiences in South Korea and Vietnam with multi-dimensional, up-to-date, and reliable perspectives on the Vietnam–Korea real estate market amid global economic volatility, increasingly stringent regulatory policies, and the growing trend of cross-border investment.
The guest of the program was Pham Dieu Ngoc (Denise Pham), one of the few Vietnamese-origin professionals to hold a licensed professional real estate broker certification in South Korea—a mandatory qualification for individuals practicing real estate brokerage or operating real estate offices in the country. In addition to her solid legal credentials, Ms. Pham Dieu Ngoc has over 15 years of experience in real estate investment in Vietnam and is currently the founder and operator of a real estate brokerage office in Eunpyeong District, Seoul, providing property consulting services to both Korean clients and the Vietnamese community living and working in South Korea.
During the program, Ms. Pham Dieu Ngoc shared her journey toward obtaining the Korean real estate broker certification, the challenges she faced during her studies and examinations, as well as her hands-on experience in managing a brokerage office in Seoul.
